I was utterly shocked by how dishonest this company was, failing to honor promotions they advertised. It felt impossible to even collect the offer because their site was full of glitches. I knew I had to leave a review and speak to customer service because it was simply unprofessional; they messed up a BOGO offer and admitted it, but then offered the most ridiculous solution instead of a simple credit back to my card.
Customer: Hi, I'm calling about order #XXXX. You guys had a BOGO promotion, but I can't seem to get it applied, and the website was glitching out. Now I'm being told I have to return my perfectly fine glasses and reorder just to get the discount you messed up? This is ridiculous. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, sir/madam. I see here that there was an issue with the promotion code not applying correctly during your initial purchase. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Our policy for rectifying such errors typically involves a return and reorder to ensure the correct promotion is applied to the new transaction. Customer: So you're telling me, even though you admit you messed up, the only solution is for me to go through the hassle of returning glasses I already received and then reorder them? Why can't you just credit the difference back to my card? That's the simple, obvious solution. CS Rep: I hear your suggestion, and I understand why you'd prefer a direct credit. Unfortunately, our system limitations prevent us from directly crediting a promotional discount after the order has been processed in this specific scenario. The return and reorder process is how we ensure proper accounting for promotional offers. Customer: This is unbelievable.
